Stress affects our brains and the rest of our bodies. The expression of the stress often comes out in our moods, our physical symptoms, and/or our relationship issues. The key to managing and recovering from stress involves not being isolated (e.g., working with a therapist), gaining language to identify your experiences, and making sense of what is happening to reduce fear and anxiety.
